It's about frigin' time!

I know, I know. It's been ages since my last entry. As you may or may not know we (the wife, Bosley, and I) have been enduring the last stages of a difficult pregnancy. We made it through 4 months of bedrest and one month of hospital bedrest doped up on magnesium sulfate. I didn't get the drugs but my poor devoted wife did and it was not a metaphorical walk in the park. Magnesium sulfate is a potent tocolytic (anti-contraction drug) that drastically reduces muscle spasms, i.e. pre-term contractions and all other systemic muscle activity. Shelese endured one month of this in a hazy lazy fog of immobility. My poor little lady was hooked up to contraction monitors and an I.V. the entire time. I tried to get to her bedside every day to help her pass the evenings and weekends when I wasn't working. Thankfully Boz was allowed to visit whenever he wished. To complicate things even more we decided to move during this time. Needless to say it has been crazy hectic. Things are settling down and while being a father of a newborn does not afford much sleep, I intend to get back to the blogging. Allow me to catch you up on the last month or so with the following pictures.

And here is the first real meal I got to make for our now family of four (only two of the four actually ate it though). Grilled pork tenderloin with an apricot green onion and Barolo vinegar salsa, sauteed baby carrots and rainbow chard, and parmesan polenta. Thanks for reading.
